Welcome to LCN11!

Welcome to the 2011 Lebanese Collegiate Network Annual Convention post-event website! For those 223 people that attended, we are very excited that you joined us at the Oakland University in Rochester, MI. If you were not able to make it to LCN’11, please explore this website to see if you are interested in joining us next year during LCN’12 at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.

This year we offered four workshops that focused on developing both professional and student members academically and professionally.  The LCN convention’s purpose is to improve your leadership skills, strengthen your University Lebanese Clubs, and of course, connect you with your peers nationwide in the hope of building long-lasting fruitful relationships.

Students and professionals from 30 Universities were registered at LCN’11. We also had 13 subscribing University Lebanese Clubs (ULCs) and 10 of their presidents. For a full list of universities in attendance please see below.

In addition to a record attendance, we were honored to host the Ambassador of Lebanon to Washington, H.E. Antoine Chedid as well as Provost and Sr. Vice President of Oakland University as our keynote speakers for the Awards Ceremony Dinner. Their attendance combined with that of several local community organizations including LAHC and AACC among others came as great support to our members and the mission of LCN.

This website intends to capture every aspect of the convention from the workshops to the presentations as well as transcripts of activities and speeches. Of course, we’ve tried to incorporate as many pictures as possible and included several web albums.  Please feel free to download anything you like.

On behalf of the LCN Board, thank you for making the LCN and its activities memorable and exciting. We look forward to seeing you next year (March 23-25, 2012) at Loyola Marymount University in CA.  We plan to refresh our workshop lineup to ensure an even more memorable experience for both new and returning attendees.
